Adrian Schacter is an artist and clothing designer.
Adrian Cashmere grew from the designer’s fascination with knitwear and cashmere as a medium. In his own words, the technology, as with all industries, is ever-ameliorating — yet knitwear seemed to be stuck with no sense of distinctiveness. Today, Adrian’s unisex pieces are scaffolded by threads of approachability, intimacy and a childlike playfulness.
Adrian sees fashion as an extension of his painting practice, where tired ideas can breathe a different kind of air. His inspiration spans across many disciplines, such as science, archaeology and various forms of design.
